At Fostering Hope Florida, our mission is simple and powerful: creating a compassionate system of foster care that honors and protects the rights of children. Every day, we work to ensure children in foster care have safe homes, basic necessities, and a community that surrounds them with dignity, stability, and love.
Many children enter foster care with only the clothes on their backs. Diapers, clothing, food, and housing support are among our greatest needs each year, and these essential resources rely heavily on community donations. While most foster children are covered by Medicaid, many families still struggle to access the supplies and support their children need to thrive. Your generosity helps bridge that gap.
A Family’s Story of Hope
“My husband and I have been fostering for nearly seven years. During the pandemic, we welcomed the three siblings of a little girl we had already adopted, bringing our total to seven children in a three-bedroom home.
Fostering Hope gave us the opportunity to move into a five-bedroom Hope House, which has been a true blessing. Over the past three years, we were able to adopt four more children, keeping siblings together and creating a loving, permanent family.
Thanks to Fostering Hope, our kids have enjoyed incredible experiences, from birthday celebrations and holiday events to outings like fishing trips and Build-a-Bear. They have truly been part of our village and extended family.
Now, as the parents of eight children, we are excited to start the next chapter of our lives in Tennessee, raising our large family on a farm. Fostering Hope helped make this dream possible.”
